Sit back and feast this lunar new year. Our new Sticky Five Spice Short Rib is cooked to perfection and is a marriage of Asian flavours with western techniques, bringing you that perfect cut.

The short ribs have a beefy flavour supplemented with rich marbling, making it an ideal comfort food and impressing your guests this CNY.

The Five Spice Short Rib:

Portion: 1Rib @ 750GM+/- (1 maybe 2 PAX) 

To Keep: Store refrigerated (not frozen) in sealed pouch for up to 21 days while retaining freshness. If opened, keep in fridge for a couple days max. 

To Eat: Leave pouch out to get to room temperature and fire up in the Oven for 6-8mins . Detailed guidelines are provided with delivery of each product and is also online (scroll down).

Keep vacuum-sealed pouch refrigerated @ 1-5°C until the use by date on the front.

Remove the pouch from the refrigerator and leave out to sit @ room temperature for at least 45MINS prior to cooking. *Tip: Cold meat does not heat up evenly, so make sure it’s close to room temperature prior to heating.

Preheat the Oven for 10-15MINS to 220°C on GRILL-FAN. *Tip: If Oven does not get that hot, amend to a longer finishing time with lower heat.

Remove the Beef and generously spread a thick layer of glaze over the Beef.

When the Oven is hot, place the Beef on the upper rack to cook until the glaze has formed (approx. 4-5MINS but monitor the timing as each oven is different). Add another thin layer of glaze before returning to oven for another 2-3MINS.

Remove from heat and you’re ready to go! *Tip: Finish on the BBQ.
